1. Agreement & Scope
This Purchase Agreement (“Agreement”) is between WawPaws, LLC (“We,” “Us,” or “WawPaws”) and the customer (“You” or “Customer”) who purchases a pet (“Pet”) via our site. By placing an order, You agree to all terms herein, including our Health & Delivery commitments. This Agreement governs all Pet sales and any related products (“Products”).
2. Definitions & Purchase Price
Purchase Price includes only the cost of the Pet and any selected Products. It does not include taxes, shipping, crates, insurance, or veterinary expenses.
3. Pet Use & Code of Conduct

All Pets are sold strictly as companions. You agree not to breed them.

You agree to spay/neuter at an appropriate age as advised by a licensed vet.

You commit to humane care: proper food, shelter, exercise, ID tags, and veterinary attention.

Pets must be indoor companions unless otherwise specified.

You shall comply with local pet laws (licenses, leash rules, waste disposal).
-
You affirm readiness for lifetime care, including emergencies, and will not abandon the Pet.
4. Health Certification & Representations

Every Pet is vet-checked by our certified breeders no more than 48 hours before delivery.

Health documentation—veterinary records, vaccination, and deworming history—is provided pre-delivery.

While we strive for accuracy in Pet descriptions (breed, gender, markings, etc.), we rely on breeder-provided data. You acknowledge minor variations may occur.
5. Delivery & Logistics

Deliveries are scheduled typically 3–7 business days after final payment, depending on location and readiness.

Delivery is via trusted, Pet-friendly carriers with real-time tracking.

Delays due to weather, logistics, or carrier issues are not grounds for cancellation or refund.

You’re responsible for ensuring proper receiving environment and availability at delivery time.
6. Cancellation & Administrative Fees
Canceled before delivery schedule confirmed:

Cancel at any time; applicable fees per schedule below:

Deposits are retained to offset administrative and logistical costs.
7. Returns & Surrenders

No returns or refunds after delivery unless health issues are confirmed per Section 8.

If you can’t care for the Pet at any time, contact us immediately: surrender is accepted with no refund; you are responsible for transport costs. We will assist with adoption or rehoming.
8. Health Guarantee & Claim Process
8.1 Coverage
Day 1–14 (Arrival): If a contagious condition is diagnosed within 14 days, and confirmed by a vet, we will reimburse reasonable treatment costs up to the Purchase Price.
Year 1 (First 12 months): For congenital or hereditary conditions confirmed by two vets and reported within 5 business days, we’ll reimburse veterinary costs up to Purchase Price.
Years 2–10: For non-English Bulldog breeds only—congenital issues certified by two vets—choose between:

Credit up to 50% of Purchase Price towards another Pet, or
-
Reimbursement up to 25% of Purchase Price.
Note: English Bulldogs are excluded from Years 2–10 coverage due to known breed health issues.
8.2 Your Obligations
To maintain coverage, you must:

Purchase and maintain active pet insurance for the first 12 months.

Complete a vet exam within 7 days of arrival.

Share full veterinary records upon claim.

Adhere to spay/neuter guidelines and routine vet care.
8.3 Claim Process
Submit a claim via email within specified timeframes, along with invoices, vet statements, and insurance documentation. Claims are processed promptly once complete.
9. Returns Not Covered by Guarantee
We don’t cover: accidents, behavior issues, routine vet care, grooming, training, or circumstances beyond congenital or contagious conditions.
10. Intellectual Property & Customer Content

All content, images, and trademarks are property of MyPetBase and protected by IP laws.

You grant MyPetBase a non-exclusive license for any content you upload (reviews, photos) for marketing uses.
11. Account & Eligibility

You affirm that you are 18+ years old and legally eligible to enter this Agreement.

Maintain confidentiality of account credentials and notify us of unauthorized access.
12. Limitation of Liability & Indemnity
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyPetBase’s liability is limited to Purchase Price. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. You agree to indemnify and hold MyPetBase harmless for claims arising from your use, negligence, or breach of the Agreement.
13. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration
All disputes—including health or service claims—will be resolved via confidential individual arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive rights to jury trials or class actions.
14. Governing Law & Amendments
This Agreement is governed by the laws of The State. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time; revisions apply to new transactions only. Continued use of our service after changes indicates acceptance.
